Winter can be tough on bars, restaurants, and service businesses. As temperatures drop, customers are less enthusiastic about dining outdoors. This results in a decrease in a venue’s maximum capacity for what is a good portion of the year.
Kelray Heaters are proven to perform well in a commercial setting. We use infrared energy which acts in a way like the rays of the sun with heat only absorbed by solid objects. This varies from convectional propane-powered heaters which heat mostly only the surrounding air and are therefore more affected by wind and energy wastage.
Electric Heaters vs Propane Heaters
Traditionally, bars and restaurants have looked to propane-powered solutions when heating their outdoor spaces. While these heat lamps may be maneuverable, they are both extremely inefficient, expensive to run and are bad for the environment. So much so, that there have been calls to ban gas patio heaters throughout Europe.
