Its 1,565 mm body, 316 stainless steel construction and choice of mounting arrangements give you a durable heater to work into a considered patio or deck design.

Designed around the moments you share

The I-30 combines a longer heater body with 3,000W output for a seating or dining zone that suits its coverage estimate. Think about where people spend their time: around the table, along a lounge setting or beneath a covered terrace. The mounting position matters as much as the floor area.

Compared with the I-25, the I-30 has a longer body and higher output. It shares its 1,565 mm length with the 4,000W I-40, giving you two single-element choices to discuss when planning that mounting space. Both retain the Ideal Series focus on 316 stainless steel and replaceable elements.

Infrared heat warms people and surfaces in its path. Position the heater over or toward the area you actually use. Wind, mounting height and the openness of the space affect comfort and coverage.

208V elements are available for suitable installations. Confirm the correct element and electrical configuration with Kelray before ordering for a 208V supply.

Plan your installation

Send a photo of the table or lounge setting you want to heat, plus the area dimensions, mounting height and number of open sides. We will help assess the I-30 and its best position within your layout. Coverage is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed temperature or a substitute for the installation clearances.

Keep the heater's long axis horizontal. Flush mounting requires the purpose-designed recess kit and a firebox rated for at least one hour. Your electrician must follow the installation manual and local requirements for wiring, protection and clearances. Confirm mounting height with Kelray before installation.

The single element is operated with a suitable on/off switch. Discuss compatible controls and mounting accessories with Kelray and your electrician when planning your system.
